Bill George has produced a revised 2nd edition of the Frank Tingey drawings booklet, which was funded by the Tingey family. Copies are usually priced at £2.50, but members may purchase copies for 50p.
The coach trip to the Ely Cathedral Flower Festival on Sunday 24th June is now full. The price is £22 per person which includes coach and entry to the festival. Deposits for this trip are now due.
Plans for the trip to the Faversham Hop Festival on Sunday 2nd September have now been finalized. Coach fare £12. Depart Sainsbury’s, Chadwell Heath 9.15 am and St.Margaret’s, Barking at 9.30am.
Our two stalls at the Chadwell Heath History Fair last month raised £123; I must thank all those members who helped at the fair especially Iris Jameson who was on her feet all day serving drinks. Bill George and Tom Cromwell both gave very well received talks.
Members Terri Porteous and Iris Jameson have both moved house recently. We wish them the best of luck. Question time will never be the same again without Terri.
