Twentyone members, including 90 year old Joy Lines,
one of our vice-presidents, attended the post-Christmas lunch at St, Margaret’s
on Tuesday 13th February. Volunteers at the church waited on our
table which was set out with Christmas crackers and place names. Our grateful
thanks go to Carol Brabender and her team for a very successful social
occasion. Thanks also to Pat Manley for making the initial arrangements.
Tom White, who served on our committee for many
years, has now moved to Blackpool to be near his daughter; we wish Tom and Eve
the best of luck in their new home.
